Background and Professional Experience:

Jorge M. Valenzuela grew up in San Diego and attended San Diego State University where he studied Criminal Justice.

Jorge was commissioned a Military Officer in the United States Army National Guard, in the branch of Military Intelligence. Jorge graduated from the San Diego Police Regional Academy and was formerly a San Diego Police Officer and a Special Investigator for the State of California.

While a police officer, Jorge was a certified Spanish Speaker, a member of the crime suppression team and investigated numerous crimes, which included but were not limited to Assault, Burglary, Robbery, Domestic Violence, Suspicious deaths, Vehicle Collisions, Sexual Assault, Missing Persons, Theft, Narcotics related violations, Health and Safety Violations, Gang-related criminal activities, and conducted and was involved with a variety of undercover operations.

While a Special Investigator, Jorge conducted investigations, submitted criminal / administrative investigative reports and search / arrest warrants affidavits to the San Diego District Attorney’s office to aid in criminal prosecution.

Jorge received specialized investigative and legal training from various agencies and associations, including the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, The San Diego Police Department, The San Diego Sheriff’s Department, The California Association of Licensed Investigators, The World Association of Detectives (among others), and continues to further his legal education through a variety of schooling and training.
