Background and Professional Experience:

Jorge M. Valenzuela is a San Diego native and San Diego State University graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice. He was commissioned as a Military Officer in the United States Army National Guard, Military Intelligence branch, and subsequently graduated from the San Diego Police Regional Academy.

As a San Diego Police Officer, Jorge served as a certified Spanish speaker and member of the Crime Suppression Team, investigating a broad range of offenses including assault, burglary, robbery, domestic violence, sexual assault, suspicious deaths, vehicle collisions, missing persons, theft, narcotics violations, health and safety violations, and gang-related criminal activity. He also participated in various undercover operations. Jorge later served as a Special Investigator for the State of California, where he conducted complex investigations and prepared criminal and administrative reports, as well as search and arrest warrant affidavits submitted to the San Diego District Attorney's Office in support of criminal prosecution.

Jorge has received specialized investigative and legal training from numerous agencies and associations, including the San Diego District Attorney's Office, the San Diego Police Department, the San Diego Sheriff's Department, the California Association of Licensed Investigators, and the World Association of Detectives. He continues to advance his legal education through ongoing coursework and professional training.
